Clinical Negligence Solicitor – Manchester


Location: Manchester | Salary: up to £65,000 + Bonus | Work Pattern: Hybrid | Type: Permanent


A nationally respected law firm is seeking to appoint a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its Manchester office. This is an exceptional opportunity for a lawyer with 1–7 years’ PQE to develop expertise in complex, high‑value medical negligence litigation within a Legal 500‑recognised team.


The role


You will manage a varied caseload of serious and sensitive matters, including:


  • Birth injury and surgical error claims
  • Brain and spinal injury cases
  • Misdiagnosis and delayed diagnosis claims
  • Fatal accident investigations and coroner’s inquests
  • Complex multi‑track clinical negligence litigation


Candidate profile


Applications are welcomed from solicitors with a background in clinical negligence, EL/PL, or broader personal injury. You should demonstrate:


  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Compassionate communication and client‑focused approach
  • Motivation to specialise in complex medical litigation with full training and support
