Are you a skilled CNC Miller who takes pride in precision engineering? Were looking for an experienced CNC Machinist (Milling) to join our Machine Shop in Irlam. This is a hands-on role where youll be programming, setting and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC milling machines, including machines equipped with 2-axis rotary tables. If you enjoy working from detailed engineering drawings, improving cycle times and delivering high-quality components right first time, this could be the role for you. The Role As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for machining a variety of materials to meet production, quality and delivery targets. Youll be trusted to manage jobs from drawing to finished part, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout. Key duties include: Programming CNC milling machines using Fanuc Guide
Setting and operating CNC mills, including 2-axis rotary tables
Editing and optimising programs to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times
Interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T
Selecting appropriate tooling, cutter presentation and coolant strategies
Setting tool registers, offsets and cutter compensation
