Job Title: CNC Miller Setter Operator
Location:Telford
Salary: Up to£43,000 per annum (Including shift allowance)
Shift: Double Days (6am2pm / 2pm10pm)

CNC Miller Setter Operator Role:

The CNC Miller setter operator will support production andprocesses for aluminium components are optimised, reliable, and efficient. This hands-on role is responsible for proving new programs, setting and operating 5-Axis milling machines.
CNC Miller Setter Operator Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain 5-axis CNC machines, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Prove new CNC programs and commission fixtures and cutting tools.
  • Monitor dimensional reports, adjust offsets, and improve process capability.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance to resolve process issues.

CNC Miller Setter Operator Essentials:

  • Proven CNC machine setting experience within fast movingproduction environments.
  • Skilled in 5-axis high-speed machining of aluminium.
  • Competence in G & M code program editing(preferably Siemens controls).
  • Strong understanding of tooling and fixture design principles.
