CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator (VMC / HMC) Salary: £17.26 £18.45 per hour (Approx. £35,000 £37,500) Overtime potential: Up to £45,000 £50,000 Working hours: 39 hours/week + overtime at 1.5x rate Shift Pattern: MonThurs: 07:30 16:30 Fri: 07:30 12:30 The Role: We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator to join our VMC & HMC Milling Cell . Working in a subcontract environment, you will be involved in one-off and small batch production, giving you the opportunity to fully utilise your technical expertise. Key responsibilities include: Programming, setting, and operating CNC machining centres Working from detailed engineering drawings Selecting tooling and proving out programs Machining a wide range of materials including steels, stainless steels, alloys, and non-ferrous metals Producing components from raw materials such as bar stock, fabrications, castings, and forgings Using CNC equipment with 4th axis capability and probing systems Programming via offline software or dir...
