Job Description

Elevate is seeking experienced Technology Lawyers to support the drafting, review, and negotiation of a broad range of technology and SaaS agreements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of technology agreements, including SaaS, cloud services, software licensing, and data-sharing arrangements.
  • Provide clear, commercially focused legal advice on cybersecurity, AI/GenAI, data governance, and digital infrastructure to support innovation while maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Lead legal risk analysis for new and emerging technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with applicable laws, ethical considerations, and organisational values.
  • Oversee and manage external legal advisors, ensuring high-quality, timely, and cost-effective support on specialist matters.
  • Support the development of the legal team by mentoring colleagues and building internal expertise in areas such as technology law, AI, and cyber risk.
  • Act as a key legal representative within cross-functional groups working on digital transformation, responsible technology, and innovation governance.
  • Stay up to date with legal and regulatory developments in emerging technologies, contributing to the organisation’s approach to responsible AI and digital ethics.


Skills & Experience Required

  • Qualified solicitor with substantial post-qualification experience, ideally with a focus on technology law.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity, AI/GenAI regulation, data protection, and technology contracting.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex legal matters and managing external counsel.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting or mentoring team members, particularly in emerging technology areas.
  • A genuine interest in innovation and the responsible, ethical use of technology.
