We’re partnering with a well-established close protection and security services business that supports high net worth individuals, families and organisations operating in complex, high-risk environments.


As part of an ambitious growth phase, they are seeking a senior commercial leader who combines security-sector credibility with strategic M&A experience to help scale the business through organic growth and acquisition.


This is not a traditional sales leadership role.


The opportunity


Our client delivers close protection services where trust, discretion, judgement and reputation are paramount. Alongside growing existing client relationships, the business is actively exploring acquiring and integrating complementary security businesses to expand capability, geography and market presence.


This role sits at the heart of that strategy.


Who this role is for


You are likely to have:

  • A background in the military, police, armed forces or professional close protection / security operations
  • Progressed into senior commercial or leadership roles within security or adjacent services
  • Hands-on experience supporting or leading M&A activity (acquisition identification, due diligence, integration, or post-acquisition growth)
  • The ability to balance commercial ambition with operational and cultural integrity


The role


  • Lead senior-level business development across close protection and security services
  • Drive growth through new client acquisition and long-term relationship development
  • Play a key role in identifying, assessing and supporting acquisition opportunities
  • Work closely with ownership and leadership on M&A strategy and integration
  • Ensure any acquired businesses align operationally, culturally and reputationally
  • Represent the business with HNWIs, family offices, corporate leaders and partners


Essential background


  • Military / police / armed forces / professional close protection or security experience
  • Senior commercial, business development or leadership experience
  • Proven involvement in M&A or acquisition-led growth
  • Strong judgement, discretion and stakeholder confidence
  • Comfortable operating at board and ownership level


This is a selective search. Candidates without both security credibility and M&A experience will not be progressed.
