Commercial Property Solicitor – Northamptonshire

Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 (DOE)

Oculus Legal Group are working with a highly regarded national firm seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Commercial Property Solicitor to join their Northampton team.

This position offers exposure to a wide range of real estate matters, working with varied clients across development, leasing, acquisitions, disposals and wider commercial property work. You’ll be joining a supportive team environment where guidance, collaboration and ongoing development are actively encouraged.

The Role

The role involves managing a busy and varied caseload while delivering a high standard of service. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing clear and practical advice across a range of commercial property matters.
• Taking responsibility for client relationships, including onboarding, progressing files, issuing invoices and following up when required.
• Handling transactions involving development projects, investment purchases, disposals, landlord and tenant matters, and related commercial work.
• Drafting, reviewing, and finalising legal documentation.
• Maintaining accurate file records and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
• Working closely with colleagues to support team goals and contribute to wider departmental activity.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Solicitor (5+ years’ PQE).
• Confident handling a range of commercial property matters, including more challenging tasks.
• Able to apply legal knowledge accurately and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to review information critically.
• Produces consistent, well-presented work and maintains high standards.
• Friendly, approachable and able to build strong working relationships.
• Positive attitude towards teamwork and client service.
