Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of an independent, award-winning restaurant for a Commis Chef, or Demi Chef de Partie to join their kitchen team based in Harpenden.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and driven chef looking to develop within a professional kitchen focused on quality, seasonal British produce.

The Role
  • Supporting day-to-day kitchen operations

  • Preparing and presenting dishes to a high standard

  • Maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards

The Ideal Candidate
  • Confident knife skills and strong kitchen fundamentals

  • Previous experience in a Michelin-starred or Rosette-awarded kitchen

  • Passionate about cooking and eager to learn

  • Reliable, positive, and able to work well within a team

  • Minimum 2 years kitchen experience

  • Full-time, permanent

  • Salary: £28,000£32,500 per year

  • Hours: Wednesday eveningSunday lunch (Monday & Tuesday off)
