Communications and Resident Involvement Administration Officer – Immediate Start required – closing 9th January

London- travel to our local offices – Hybrid 3 days in office

Communications and Resident Involvement Lead Officers


Key objectives:


  • To support the administrative functions of the organisation's internal and external communication platforms and corporate events.


  • To provide essential administrative and coordination support for resident involvement structures and resident forums.


Main Responsibilities

Communications

  • Website and intranet updates
  • General support with communications tasks
  • Supporting the organisation of corporate events
  • Text and emails messaging
  • Maintaining the photographic library
  • Keeping the comms schedule up to date
  • Sourcing good news stories for the website and socials
  • Assisting with the collation of information for PowerPoint presentations / digital noticeboards
  • Assisting with keeping noticeboards up to date and arranging distribution of collateral to local offices

Resident Involvement

  • Providing administrative coordination for resident meetings (contacting residents, sending out documents, booking rooms, etc.)
  • Supporting resident consultation events
  • First point of contact for resident Involvement enquiries
  • Following up contact from residents interested in joining local boards and forums
  • Supporting and promoting resident involvement activities
  • Attending and supporting resident meetings (some evening work may be required)
  • Gathering action responses from resident meetings from appropriate officers
  • Supporting resident consultation events
  • General RI support


Experience and Skills

Essential

  • Strong Organisational Skills: The ability to manage multiple priorities and plan events with attention to detail is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to build rapport with diverse residents and stakeholders.
  • Content & Digital Support: Assisting with posting and updating content on websites/social media, compiling data reports (web analytics, media coverage), managing image libraries, and proofreading.
  • Customer Focus: A genuine commitment to customer care and an enthusiastic approach to engaging with tenants and leaseholders.

  • Flexibility: A proactive attitude and a willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends to support meetings and events.

Desirable

  • Basic graphic design / video editing skills
