Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 + bonus & benefits

Locations: London or Gloucestershire (hybrid)


Lutine Bell is supporting a well established Re-Insurance organisation who is looking to appoint a Compliance Manager (Generalist) into their London or South-West office.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor conduct risk, general compliance risk including that arising from activities of outsourced service providers and share with the Risk and Internal Audit teams the findings of their activities.
  • Implement and manage the Compliance framework (including the compliance monitoring activities) and all related policies, processes and tools and provide consultation and advice on compliance matters
  • Make timely, appropriate submissions and reports to the FCA and PRA
  • Monitor and oversee the policies and procedures of outsourced providers
  • Develop and maintain management tools to provide MI


Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of FCA and PRA regulatory requirements (including SMCR) and relevant industry standards
  • Completed or studying for a compliance professional qualification (CISI or equivalent), with experience in an operational compliance function
  • Relevant experience within the insurance or wider financial services sector
  • Experience of effective horizon scanning
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality management information, maintain accurate records and deliver clear reporting
