Ourclient,anestablishedandreputablemaincontractor,isseekinganexperiencedanddrivenBidManagertojointheirManchester-basedteam.Youllplayapivotalroleinsecuringhigh-profileconstructionprojectsacrosstheNorthWestandbeyondspanningsectorssuchasresidential,commercial,education,healthcareandindustrial.


TheRole

AsBidManager,youllbethedrivingforcebehindourtenderingsuccess.Workingcloselywiththeestimating,planning,commercial,andtechnicalteams,youllmanagethefullbidlife-cyclefrominitialstrategydevelopmentthroughtofinalsubmissionandclientpresentation.


Keyresponsibilities:

  • LeadbidmanagementprocessfromPQQtoITTandpost-tenderclarifications
  • Developwinningstrategies,bidplansandcompellingcontentalignedwithclientneeds
  • Coordinateinternalandexternalstakeholderstoensuretimely,high-qualitysubmissions
  • Facilitateworkshopsandreviews,drivingsolutiondevelopmentandcontinuousimprovement
  • Write,review,andpolishwrittenproposalswithconsistencyandimpact
  • Maintainbidlibraryandensureknowledge-sharingacrossteams
  • Engagewiththewiderbusinessonpipelineopportunitiesandmarketintelligence


WhatTheyareLookingFor

  • ProvenexperiencemanagingbidsforTier1orTier2contractorsorconsultancies
  • StrongunderstandingofUKconstructionprocurement,frameworks,andcontracttypes(JCT,NEC)
  • Exceptionalorganisation,attentiontodetail,andtimemanagement
  • Skilledcommunicatorwithexcellentwrittenandverbalpresentationability
  • Experienceacrosssectorssuchasbuild,infrastructure,education,healthcare,ormixed-use
  • FamiliaritywithAdobeInDesign(orsimilarDTPtools)aplus
  • APMPorsimilarprofessionalqualification(preferredbutnotessential)
