Position A full-time substantive consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedic surgery, fellowship trained in knee surgery including revision knee replacement, at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Carry out the whole spectrum of knee arthroplasty surgery: own elective practice, outpatients, day cases and inpatients. Provide full spectrum of trauma care admitted to NNUH. Competent in primary management of all areas of acute trauma; support in specialist areas such as paediatrics & spines. Receive referrals for complex problems related to subspecialty interest and accommodate these in elective/additional trauma lists. Share office space and junior doctor and secretarial support equitably with other T&O consultants. Participate in mentoring and support for new consultants.
Qualifications
Full GMC licence to practise. Fellowship trained in knee surgery including revision knee replacement. Competent in primary management of acute trauma.
