Check below to see if you have what is needed for this opportunity, and if so, make an application asap. - £45,000 Shift: Days Job Role of the Continuous Improvement Engineer An exciting opportunity is available for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to become part of a forward-thinking and collaborative team in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
As a Continuous Impovement Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing site performance by embedding standardised processes and delivering Lean and Six Sigma projects such as 5S, SMED, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
You will analyse downtime and quality concerns through structured root cause investigations, minimise process variation, carry out time studies and capability assessments, and utilise data-driven insights to implement and sustain measurable improvements.
The successfull Continuous Impovement Engineer will be responsible for creating and maintaining KPIs and performance dashboards, while supporting and mentoring teams in Lean methodologies and practical problem-solving techniques.
Championing health & safety, food safety, and a mindset of continuous improvement will be central to your approach.
Sector - Factory Maintenance Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Continuous Improvement Engineer Manufacturing experience in a CI/Process Improvement role Proven delivery of Lean/Six Sigma projects Strong root cause analysis skills Data analysis and KPIs Requirements for the Continuous Improvement Engineer Experience in Continuous Improvement or Process Improvement within manufacturing Experience in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies Proven track record with 5S, SMED, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping Ability to analyse data, track KPIs, and maintain performance dashboards Experience with time studies, process mapping, and capability analysis Desirable Requirements for the Continuous Improvement Engineer Knowledge of change management and continuous improvement culture implementation Ability to lead cross-functional improvement projects Excellent communication and presentation skills Experience with automated or modern production equipment The Continuous Improvement Engineer will benefit from Working in a supportive and collaborative team environment Exposure to modern, well-invested manufacturing equipment Career development and progression opportunities Ongoing training in continuous improvement and operational excellence If you are interested in this role and feel that you have the right skills, then please click apply at the bottom of this advert.
