Conveyancing Solicitor / Legal Executive 

Overview

A small, well-established high street law firm near Solihull is seeking a Conveyancing Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its busy team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conveyancer to manage their own cases independently while developing into a senior management role within a supportive, family-style firm.

You will work alongside a Partner, handling a full range of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, supported by experienced secretarial staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a personal caseload of residential conveyancing matters including:
\n
• Sales and purchases
\n

\n
\n
• Freehold and leasehold transactions
\n

\n
\n
• Transfers of equity
\n

\n
\n
• Re-mortgages
\n

\n
• Act independently, taking ownership of cases from instruction to completion

\n
• Provide excellent client service, maintaining strong client relationships

\n
• Work collaboratively with the Partner and support staff to ensure smooth workflow

\n
• Contribute to the growth of the department and progress into a potential management or senior role

Requirements

\n
• Qualified Conveyancing Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least five years' post-qualification experience handling residential conveyancing independently

\n
• Strong knowledge of residential property law including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, transfers of equity and remortgages

\n
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills

\n
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small team

\n
• Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to progress into senior management
