Tender Co-Ordinator / Estimator

Full-Time | Permanent

The Role Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for developing winning tender strategies, preparing accurate estimates, and coordinating comprehensive tender submissions.

This is a client-facing role requiring strong commercial awareness and excellent relationship management skills. You will ensure all tenders are competitively structured, commercially sound, and professionally presented minimising risk while delivering first-class service to clients.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement winning tender strategies
Produce detailed and competitive cost estimates
Analyse tender opportunities and make informed bid/no-bid recommendations
Coordinate the full tender return documentation and submission process
Review and manage historical cost data and market trends
Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
Lead and support client presentations and pre-contract meetings
Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, Planning Regulations, and relevant legislation
Manage pre-contract documentation and handover to delivery teams
Control and monitor costs associated with tenders
Ensure high standards of health & safety and compliance with company policies
About You
We are looking for a commercially astute and detail-oriented professional with strong organisational and communication skills.

Key Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in estimating and tender coordination within construction or fit-out
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
Excellent planning and organisational ability
High attention to detail and accuracy
Confident presenting to internal stakeholders and clients
Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office
Experience using Bluebeam or similar software
Strong team player with high levels of integrity and professionalism
Qualifications:
Membership of a recognised industry body (e.g., RICS or CIOB) or proven commercial estimating experience
