Corporate Front of House Security Officer

We are looking for a friendly, customer‑focused Corporate Front of House Security Officer based in Birmingham. In this role you will provide consistent, professional service on site, handle incidents in a structured manner, and support the delivery of security operations across all departments.
Working hours: 46 hours per week – Mon/Wed/Fri 08:00‑16:00, Tue/Thu 08:00‑18:00.

What you will need
Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus.
A valid SIA Front‑Line Licence – essential.
Confidence and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
Ability to meet deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards.
What you will do
Maintain high standards of performance, professionalism and customer service at all times.
Comply fully with operational instructions and external regulations.
Report and, where necessary, elevate issues following the Chain of Command.
Produce clear and concise operational reports within required timeframes.
Be fully conversant with site systems and procedures.
Support Corps Security and site management to identify and implement service improvements.
Build relationships with internal and external guests to enhance security provision.
Stay current on all changes in building occupiers, set‑ups and productions, ensuring information flows correctly.
Maintain safety and security through the operation of integrated security systems.
Liaise with supervisors, Corps Security and management regarding building maintenance and H&S issues.
Coordinate with external authorities, including police.
Ensure all policies and procedures are followed.
Respond immediately to any minor or major incidents, including medical incidents, fire alarm activations/evacuations and crisis response.
Carry out any other administrative duties as deemed necessary by Duty Security Managers, Supervisors or clients.
