The Opportunity

A leading US law firm is seeking a bright and capable Corporate Paralegal to join its London office. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with partners and associates on complex, high value matters across M&A, leveraged finance, real estate finance, and transaction management.


You will be part of a fast paced, high performing team supporting domestic and cross border transactions for private equity sponsors, financial institutions, and multinational corporates.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting on a wide range of corporate transactions, including M&A deals from inception through to completion
  • Assisting with leveraged finance and real estate finance matters, including preparation and management of conditions precedent checklists and closing documentation
  • Providing transaction management support, coordinating timelines, deliverables, and communications across multiple stakeholders
  • Drafting and reviewing ancillary documents, board minutes, resolutions, and corporate approvals
  • Managing virtual data rooms and supporting due diligence processes
  • Coordinating signing and closing processes, including execution and post completion tasks
  • Liaising with clients, lenders, local counsel, and internal teams across jurisdictions
  • Maintaining corporate records and supporting with Companies House filings


Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience as a corporate or transactional paralegal, ideally gained within a top tier international or US law firm
  • Exposure to M&A, leveraged finance, real estate finance, and transaction management work is highly desirable
  • Bright and capable individual with excellent academics
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • High level of attention to detail and a proactive, professional approach
  • Confident communicator who can work effectively with senior stakeholders and clients
  • Law degree or equivalent qualification
