Corporate Solicitor – Birmingham

A Legal 500-ranked law firm with approximately 170 staff and 22 equity partners is seeking to expand its Corporate team. It is now seeking a Corporate Solicitor around 3-5 years PQE to join its team reputable team.

The firm places a strong emphasis on collaboration, teamwork and cross-referrals, with teams structured to maximise client service and internal knowledge sharing. Hybrid working is standard practice, with Solicitors typically working three days in the office and two days remotely.

The Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a Corporate Solicitor (3-5 years' PQE) to join a highly regarded Corporate team working on a broad range of high-value corporate transactions, including:

• Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
• Management Buyouts (MBOs)
• Corporate restructurings and reorganisations
• Banking and finance transactions

The role involves advising Buyers and Sellers on multi-million-pound transactions, both within the UK and internationally across a range of sectors. You will work closely with Partners, Shareholders and Directors, providing practical, commercial advice to help clients achieve their business objectives efficiently.

The team has a strong healthcare practice and regularly advises on transactions involving dentistry, pharmaceutical, opticians and veterinary businesses, including acting for lenders and corporate buyers and sellers.

About You:

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
• 3-5 years' PQE in corporate law
• Strong experience in M&A transactions
• Exposure to MBOs, reorganisations and/or banking transactions
• Confident dealing directly with clients
• Commercial, pragmatic and solutions-focused
• Interested in working within a Legal 500 corporate team
• Healthcare or owner-managed business experience advantageous but not essential
