Service Care Legal are currently recruiting on behalf of a Legal 500 firm in East London who are seeking a Court of Protection Solicitor to join their highly-respected team. Please find below further details regarding this position.

The position is 1-3 year PQE. NQ's with relevant experience will also be considered.

The Role

• Running a varied Court of Protection (Welfare) caseload, including matters concerning residence, contact, care, and capacity.
• Manage your own caseload undertaking predominantly Expert Witness and Deputyship work
• Advising clients, families and support teams as well as external solicitors on a wide range of legal issues and undertake applications to Court.

The Person

• A qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 1 year PQE within Court of Protection
• Good knowledge of the legal aid scheme would be essential but experience of privately-funded work would be welcome.
• Experience of Legal Aid funding and using CCMS.
