Cover Supervisor - Stockton-on-Tees

Start: ASAP Flexible Day-to-Day & Long-Term Opportunities

Pay: £100 - £130 p/day

Are you a confident, motivated individual looking to support young people in a dynamic secondary school environment? Our partner school in Stockton-on-Tees - a vibrant, inclusive mixed secondary - is seeking skilled Cover Supervisors to support with regular cover needs across a variety of subjects.

This school frequently requires both ad-hoc daily cover and longer-term assignments to support planned and unplanned staff absences. It's an excellent opportunity for anyone considering teaching in the future or experienced classroom practitioners seeking a new challenge.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-prepared work to classes across KS3 and KS4
• Manage the classroom effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
• Support students in staying on task and following school expectations
• Provide consistency and continuity in staff absence
• Work flexibly across different subject areas

What We're Looking For

• Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management
• Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
• Resilience, adaptability, and a professional attitude
• Experience working with young people (classroom or youth work preferred)
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is highly desirable
• Availability to start ASAP
