Data & Analytics Consultant

£50,000–£60,000 + bonus

London / Hybrid


We’re partnering with a specialist analytics consultancy. They’re looking for a hands-on Data & Analytics Consultant to work directly with clients, delivering insight, analytics, and data-driven solutions that go far beyond dashboards.


The role:

You’ll take ownership of client problems end-to-end, combining technical delivery with commercial understanding:

  • Work directly with clients to understand their business, challenges, and opportunities
  • Build high-quality Power BI semantic models and reports
  • Develop robust data models and analytical frameworks
  • Analyse large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Translate technical insights into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Support automated, predictive, or diagnostic analytics workflows
  • Contribute to internal best practices and reusable assets

This is a hands-on consulting role — you’ll be expected to take ownership of problems, work independently, and deliver practical, client-facing solutions.


Your skills and experience:

The right candidate will have:

  • Strong experience building Power BI semantic models (advanced DAX, dimensional modelling, performance optimisation)
  • Professional Power BI report development
  • Fluent SQL (complex joins, transformations, optimisation)
  • Python for data analysis/cleansing
  • Strong Excel skills for analysis and modelling
  • Experience working in a Cloud environment
  • Experience in dbt will be a nice to have
  • Numerical degree
  • Minimum 3 years experience
