Data Analytics Consultant

Up to £60,000

Are you an avid Data Analyst with experience in a fast-paced environment? We are partnering with a data focused consultancy looking to bring someone in who is comfortable working with imperfect datasets.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Data Analytics Consultant will:

-Build quality Power BI models and reports

-Work with clients to understand their objectives, needs and operational processes

-Communicate technical findings into clear insights

-Continue the development of automated analytics solutions

-Work with large datasets to identify opportunities, risks and trends

-Add to internal best practice

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

-Strong experience in Power BI semantic models (DAX, modelling and performance optimisation)

-Advanced SQL including complex joins, transformations and xbpsjku optimisation

-Some exposure to Python

-Strong skills with Excel for modelling and analytics

-Strong academics background (for example maths, engineering, economics, computer science etc.)

-Good communication skills

-Around 3 years minimum experience working in a fast paced environment
