Senior Configuration Engineer Location: West Yorkshire Sector: UK Defence Engineering Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday A well-established UK defence engineering organisation is seeking a Senior Configuration Engineer to take ownership of configuration management across complex engineering programmes. This role offers long-term responsibility for ensuring configuration discipline, data integrity, and effective change control across product, test, and software design environments. The position focuses on day-to-day use, governance, and continuous improvement of configuration management tools and processes, rather than system implementation or development. The Role You will act as the configuration management Subject Matter Expert , supporting engineering teams to ensure consistent, compliant, and efficient use of configuration management systems. Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Assembly functions, you will help safeguard engineering data and enable successful programme delivery. Key Responsibilities
