I am working with an award winning business based in North Manchester, they are a global manufacturer and are looking to add a demand planner to their team. This person has to have previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment, dealing with suppliers and other sites, concurrently within Europe and the far east.\n\nDemand Planner – Responsibilities:\n\n * Responsible for achieving agreed SFD, Stock levels and CSL, monitoring ICSL, SSL for the managed portfolio.\n\n * Ordering items from production sites, suppliers and co-packers and following up deliveries in order to fulfil the sales and production plan on time, first time.\n\n * Maintaining and periodically reviewing the master data in SAP and IPB to implement adequate forecasting models, replenishment and stock strategies.\n\n * Communicating, managing and solving actual and potential supply issues.\n\n * Reviewing the Sales/Production forecast of managed portfolio of a country or group of countries on short, mid and long term in quantity or value.\n\nAdditional Responsibilities:\n\n * Managing co-packing activities with a main focus on availability, saving costs, production schedule and raw material replenishment.\n\n * Coordinates import activities.\n\n * Ensures the sales forecast input from other department is on time and accurate (Launches, promotions and delisting)\n\n * Preparing data for the bi-monthly reviews and consensus meeting\n\n * Managing SCM related tasks of quality issues\n\n * Manages phase-in/phase-out situations and SLOBs\n\n * Continuously improves operational efficiency (Process improvements, new SCM solutions, support central tenders)\n\nInteractions –\n\n * CIC, Marketing, Sales, Controlling, Production, Procurement, Supplier, Warehouse, Forwarder, Customs service provider.\n\nDemand Planner – Package:\n\n * Hybrid Working\n\n * 28 days leave Bank Holidays\n\n * Flextime\n\n * Life Assurance\n\n * Pension\n\n * Lifeworks Assistance Programme\n\n * Medicash\n\n * Bupa Private Medical\n\n * Group income protection\n\n * Onsite Parking\n\n * Learning and Development Opportunities\n\n * Team building and strategy away days\n\n * £35500 P/A – 15% bonus\n\nIf you are interested in this job role please submit your application, alternatively you can give us a call to be the first to apply\n\nDue to the large number of applications we receive, we may not be able to respond to every applicant.
