We are recruiting an ambitious Deputy Head of English to support the leadership of a thriving department. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven teacher ready to step into middle leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Head of English in curriculum planning and delivery

Lead on literacy, intervention and assessment strategies

Monitor standards and drive pupil progress

Mentor and support English teachers

Play a key role in departmental development

Person Specification

QTS and strong English subject knowledge

Proven success teaching KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable)

Experience supporting or leading within a department

Strong communication and organisational skills
