We are working with a leading Facilities Management business to appoint an Operations Director to lead and scale their cleaning and security operations across a diverse portfolio of clients in the London area. This is a senior leadership role responsible for operational excellence, client satisfaction, and sustainable growth across multiple contracts and regions. You will take full ownership of service delivery, leading large multi-site teams and ensuring consistently high standards across all contracts. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, clients, and internal departments to drive performance, efficiency, and profitability. Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership across cleaning and security operations Oversee multi-site service delivery across retail, commercial, and logistics sectors Build, develop, and lead high-performing regional management teams Ensure compliance with all regulatory, health & safety, and industry standards Drive operational efficiency, cost control, and margin improvement Maintain and grow key client relationships at senior level Lead contract mobilisations, transitions, and service improvements Implement KPIs, reporting frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives Support business development through bid input and client presentations

About You

Proven experience in a senior operations role within FM, cleaning, or security services Strong background managing large, multi-site contracts Experience across retail, commercial, or logistics environments Commercially astute with a track record of improving performance and profitability Exceptional leadership and people management skills Strong client-facing experience with the ability to influence at senior level Knowledge of compliance, legislation, and industry best practice Results-driven with a hands‑on, solutions‑focused approach
