About the role We're looking for an experienced Distribution Manager to support day-to-day DC operations and play a key role in developing a colleague identified as a future DC Manager successor. You'll provide hands‑on coaching and exposure across key areas including financial acumen, influencing skills, project & stakeholder management and succession planning. This role is ideal for a strong leader who enjoys developing talent while keeping the operation running smoothly. Responsible for leading the 24/7 operation ensuring visionary leadership, strategic thinking, effective cost control and successful management of labour, productivity, quality control and safety measures as established and set by the Business. Experienced Operations Leader - managing, motivating and developing colleagues to cultivate a performance culture Previous experience in project management - being part of a team and leading a team Previous experience in a time sensitive environment with various sites and managers Proven experience of managing change and initiating improvements, maintaining objectives/KPIs Previous experience of recruitment and selection
