We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Qualified Early Years Practitioners with a Level 3 or above qualification to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting young childrens early development, ensuring their safety, well-being, and educational growth. You must ensure your observations, next steps, planning, activities, focus activities, reports are consistent as well as good quality and that your key children are hitting their targets and milestones. To work in partnership with parents, ensuring they are well informed of their childs daily routine, activities participated in and development. If parents do have concerns that need addressing, reassure parents and devise solutions and strategies that can help the parent partner relationship. If unsure, ask room leader to take over. To show positive learning attitude and be a team player. To work as part of a team, support and assist other member of staff when they need help. To ensure that all policies and procedures are being adhered to by you and your team daily. To be fully knowledgeable on Safeguarding/ child protection policies and procedures of the nursery and that you know how to deal with a suspected concern and where relevant contact numbers for safeguarding concerns are kept. To ensure that health and safety precautions are maintained daily this includes visual risk assessing, register monitoring, safety of the environment and resources all in line with policies and procedures of the nursery. Ensuring accident, incident, injury, pre-existing injury and medication forms are filled out correctly and submitted and signed by parents on the day of the event and notified to management. Being able to adapt and be flexible for new improvements and actions taken after local authority visits training and Ofsted advice. Attend training courses and meeting. Complete daily diaries for the children in your room on a daily basis (Food eaten, nappy changes, hours slept, sun screen and bottle). To maintain that children in your room are stimulated, engaged and happy, if not then solutions must be formulated to work towards this. Keeping your workspace clean, tidy and organized at all times. To always uphold the standards of the setting. To adhere to the company ethos and values Qualifications Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education or equivalent qualification. Proven experience working with young children in early years settings or similar environments. Knowledge of child development principles, safeguarding policies, and health & safety regulations. First aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families.
