Role
This senior role combines hands-on project leadership with strategic input across the business. You'll manage multiple projects, overseeing research design and delivery while guiding a team of economists and analysts.
With a strong grounding in both quantitative and qualitative economic methods, you’ll ensure high-quality outputs and lead work that informs real-world decisions. You’ll also contribute to business growth—shaping proposals, building client relationships, and identifying new opportunities. As part of the leadership team, you’ll mentor junior colleagues and help foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
Key Skills
Essential:
Proven experience experience in consultancy, government, or similar project-based roles
Proven track record in leading teams and delivering high-quality projects
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
Experience managing clients and stakeholder engagement
Clear communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong qualitative analysis skills, even with limited data
Good to have:
Knowledge or experience in the space sector
Background in economics (degree or professional role)
Familiarity with economic modelling and public sector business cases
Experience with evaluation frameworks (Green/Magenta Book)
Skills in R, Stata, or Python

Lead delivery of high-impact consulting projects from scoping to completion
Manage project teams and ensure high-quality outputs on time and within budget
Engage directly with clients including governments, agencies, and industry leaders
Translate complex data and insights into clear, actionable recommendations

Support team development and contribute to internal strategic goals
