Electrical Design Engineer – Shropshire / Hybrid - Permanent - £45-55k + 10% bonus

Samuel Frank is recruiting for an Electrical Design Engineer to join the design office of a Shropshire based systems integrator. The successful Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and engineering of power systems, in particular industrial drive systems, power conversion and power applications.

Key aspects of the Electrical Design Engineer role include –

* Electrical design including electrical schematics, control panel GAs, cable block diagrams, cable / termination schedules, bill of materials for use in various sectors including heavy industry

* Company will consider Electrical Design Engineers with experience of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical or other widely used packages who are interested in cross training to EPLAN

* Create functional specifications for systems and components such as motors, drives, switchboards, transformers, energy storage devices and cabling

* Detailed design studies and calculations

* Electrical Design Engineer will produce contract documentation packages

* Customer support, co-ordination, tendering and project handovers
