Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FOOT MOBILE

Location: Central London

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

We’re currently recruiting for a client-facing Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a prestigious commercial contract covering office buildings in Central London on a foot mobile basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer to take ownership of electrical and mechanical maintenance, compliance, and service delivery in a high-profile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled PPM and reactive maintenance to ensure equipment availability

Respond to BMS alarms and carry out emergency repairs

Maintain evaporative cooling and domestic water systems in line with L8 standards

Manage Permit to Work systems and ensure safe working practices

Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with site procedures

Maintain accurate records and documentation (task sheets, risk assessments, method statements)

Ensure spare parts availability and support continuous improvement of site operations

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial building maintenance

Qualified to City & Guilds Level 3 and 18th Edition

Strong understanding of SFG20 maintenance standards

Experience supervising subcontractors

Ability to provide 2 recent work references

Own safety boots and basic hand tools
