Job Role: Electrical Engineer - Water\nLocation: Brighton (Hybrid Working)\nSalary: £45,000 - £55,000\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nOur client is shaping the future of engineering within the water industry, delivering innovative and sustainable solutions that make a real difference to communities and the environment. They are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to support the delivery of high-quality, technically robust designs across a range of capital projects.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to work on impactful water and wastewater projects from concept through to completion. You'll join a multidisciplinary team, providing technical expertise, supporting design delivery, and contributing to the resolution of complex engineering challenges.

There will also be opportunities to mentor junior engineers and support continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering function.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nProviding technical expertise on water and/or wastewater projects.\nSupporting the coordination and delivery of design packages.\nPreparing and reviewing datasheets, calculations, drawings, and technical reports.\nUndertaking quality assurance checks and resolving complex design issues.\nAssisting with project planning and contributing to programme and task duration estimates.\nEnsuring designs meet regulatory requirements and client expectations.\nPromoting safety, sustainability, and compliance in all aspects of work.\nTravelling to sites and offices across the region as required. \n\nAbout you:\n\nMEng/BEng (or equivalent) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.\nExperience in water and/or wastewater design and asset management.\nStrong technical problem-solving ability with excellent attention to detail.\nProficient in MS Office and relevant engineering/design software.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills.\nAble to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.\nFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel.\nProfessional membership of a relevant institution (or working towards chartership) is desirable. \n\nReach out to Charlie Knight @ Advance TRS to find out more about this exciting opportunity and take the next step in your career.\n\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value in our company.
