MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer (at either intermediate or senior level) to join a successful growing consultancy in their busy office located in Romsey.
As the Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Prepare outline schemes, technical reports, sketch designs and concept layouts. Prepare detailed specifications, schedules, drawings and other contract documents in accordance with RIBA stages Input into pre-qualification and selection of contractors, tendering procedures and tender review Liaise with clients, professionals, contractors, suppliers and other design team members- liaising directly with clients to formulate initial design strategies as well as managing projects from inception, through construction to project completion Identify and meet the needs and expectations of clients Mentor and inspire younger colleagues and engineers To be considered for this role you should have:
3-5 years’ experience in a consulting engineering environment Relevant experience in electrical engineering design, including areas such as power supplies, PV/EVC, lighting and alarm systems Be fully conversant with the IET Regulations, Building Regulations, BREEAM and the principles of sustainable and low carbon design and be competent with electrical engineering calculations (Amtech/Trimble, Relux...
