ob Title:Location: City of LondonSalary: £45,000 £50,000 per annumAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team, working on a high-profile commercial site in the City of London. This is a hands-on, maintenance-focused role responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical and HVAC building services systems.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and building services systemsDiagnose faults and perform repairs on LV systems, lighting, power distribution, and control panelsCarry out maintenance and basic fault-finding on HVAC systems including AHUs (Air Handling Units) and FCUs (Fan Coil Units)Support the operation and maintenance of HVAC plant, including motors, controls, and associated equipmentConduct routine inspections, testing, and compliance checks (emergency lighting, fire alarms, etc.)Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations and industry standardsMaintain accurate records of works completed using CAFM systemsLiaise with site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth delivery of maintenance activitiesParticipate in on-call rota where requiredRequirementsNVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation/Maintenance18th Edition (BS7671 IET Wiring Regulations) essentialProven experience in a building services maintenance role within a commercial environmentGood working knowledge of HVAC systems (AHUs, FCUs, basic controls)Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilityExperience using CAFM systems for logging and tracking maintenanceGood communication skills and a proactive attitudeDesirableCity & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)Experience in critical environments (e.g., corporate offices, data centres)Basic mechanical/HVAC qualifications or cross-skilled experienceWhat We OfferCompetitive salary (£45,000 £50,000)Overtime opportunities and on-call allowanceCareer progression and ongoing trainingProfessional and supportive working environmentHow to ApplyJBRP1_UKTJ
