Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Cambridge City Centre
Package: Up to £45,000 + Excellent benefits and training
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Out of hours schedule: 1 in 5 weeks Call Out + Attending Shutdowns
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer, to join our clients team covering a commercial building considered highly critical in Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join an esteemed facilities company that values quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks on electrical & mechanical systems.
Perform maintenance and repairs on fire alarms, emergency lighting, sprinklers and other compliance systems.
Carry out checks to building equipment and systems such as Circuit breakers, Generators, UPS, AHU/FCUs, Motors, Pumps, LTHWS etc.
Undertake AP training, performing switching tasks as per schedule.
Diagnose and resolve M&E faults quickly and efficiently.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Participate in a 1 in 5 call-out rota to provide emergency support.
Participate in site shutdowns quarterly
Requirements:
Required: Minimum Level 3 NVQ equivalent in Electrical Installation or Engineering plus 18 th Edition
Proven experience in a similar M&E maintenance role.
Strong knowledge of commercial building systems.
Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
