Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location:Cambridge City Centre

Package:Up to £45,000 + Excellent benefits and training

Working Hours:Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Out of hours schedule:1 in 5 weeks Call Out + Attending Shutdowns

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer, to join our clients team covering a commercial building considered highly critical in Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join an esteemed facilities company that values quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks on electrical & mechanical systems.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on fire alarms, emergency lighting, sprinklers and other compliance systems.
• Carry out checks to building equipment and systems such as Circuit breakers, Generators, UPS, AHU/FCUs, Motors, Pumps, LTHWS etc.
• Undertake AP training, performing switching tasks as per schedule.
• Diagnose and resolve M&E faults quickly and efficiently.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in a 1 in 5 call-out rota to provide emergency support.
• Participate in site shutdowns quarterly

Requirements:

• Required: Minimum Level 3 NVQ equivalent in Electrical Installation or Engineering plus 18th Edition
• Proven experience in a similar M&E maintenance role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial building systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
