Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Engineers (x3) FM Service Provider Large Estate Kings Cross, North London Up to £48,000 + Package
Exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based on a large and prestigious commercial estate in Kings Cross, North London. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for three Maintenance Engineers (2x Mechanical, 1x Electrical) to join a sizeable on-site team, delivering both planned preventative and reactive maintenance across a diverse portfolio of buildings.
The successful candidates will be qualified within their respective disciplines and have a strong background in commercial building maintenance. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company offering excellent overtime, training, and clear career progression.
In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £48,000 per annum, call-out allowance, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Hours of Work:
  • Monday to Friday
  • 08:00 am 17:00 pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities Mechanical Engineers (x2):
  • Monitor and maintain mechanical plant including pumps, motors, seals, and bearings
  • Carry out maintenance on AHUs and FCUs (filter changes, cleaning)
  • Perform water treatment tasks including temperature checks (no dosing)
  • Carry out plumbing works including unblocking toilets and replacing taps/washers
  • Monitor and operate BMS systems
  • Undertake basic electrical duties such as lamp changes
  • Carry out general building fabric maintenance
  • Escort and supervise specialist subcontractors

Key Duties & Responsibilities Electrical Engineer (x1):
  • Carry out electrical maintenance including lighting, lamp changes, and emergency lighting testing
  • Diagnose faults and carry out electrical fault finding
  • Complete small installations and minor electrical works
  • Maintain and monitor power distribution systems including DBs and sockets
  • Monitor and operate BMS systems
  • Support the mechanical team with day-to-day maintenance tasks
  • Carry out general building fabric maintenance
  • Escort and supervise specialist subcontractors

Package:
  • Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum
  • Call-Out: 1 in 4

Requirements Mechanical Engineers (x2):
  • Mechanically qualified City & Guilds Level 2 minimum (essential)
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled with good communication skills
  • Client-facing and professional approach
  • Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates

Requirements Electrical Engineer (x1):
  • Electrically qualified City & Guilds Level 3 (essential)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled with good communication skills
  • Client-facing and professional approach
  • Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates
