Electrical Shift Leader – £56,000 – Fenchurch Street

If so, this opportunity could be ideal for you.
We are currently recruiting for an exciting position with a reputable and well-established Facilities Management provider based in Fenchurch Street. Working on a large Banking Environment, you will lead a team of engineers and be responsible for delivering exceptional maintenance services across the site.
The successful candidate will be electrically biased, with strong experience in commercial building maintenance and a proactive, hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks are completed across site assets using the PPM system.
Maintain detailed and accurate records relating to Health & Safety, compliance, and quality standards.
Supervise subcontractors and ensure all works meet contractual and site requirements.
Diagnose and resolve plant faults efficiently to maintain operational performance.
Complete comprehensive maintenance documentation and job reports.
Prepare and implement Risk Assessments and Method Statements to promote safe working practices.
Lead, manage, and support the shift engineering team.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the client.
Allocate and monitor workloads to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard and within required timeframes.
Conduct annual performance reviews for engineers.
Identify training requirements and implement development plans to ensure ongoing competence and compliance.Requirements
City & Guilds Electrical Qualification (Level 2 & 3)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Proven background in commercial building maintenance
Strong technical knowledge of UPS systems, generators, power distribution, HVAC, and HV/LV systems
Excellent communication skills
