Job Title: Emergency Lighting (EML) Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Emergency Lighting (EML) Engineer to join our growing team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, and fault-finding of emergency lighting systems across a range of commercial and residential properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair emergency lighting systems in line with current regulations and standards
• Carry out routine testing and inspections of emergency lighting systems
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
• Ensure all works are completed in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Complete accurate documentation and reports following inspections and maintenance visits
• Work independently and as part of a wider team
• Liaise with clients and site personnel in a professional manner

Essential Requirements

• Level 2 Electrical Installations (2365 or equivalent)
• Level 3 Electrical Installations (2365 or equivalent)
• Proven experience working with emergency lighting systems
• Experience in containment (tray, trunking, conduit, etc.)
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable / Preferred Qualifications

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
• Electrical Testing & Inspection (2391 or equivalent)
