Energy Sales Consultant\n\nLocation: Leicester\nSalary: £26,000 - £33,000 basic (DOE) + Uncapped Commission\nHours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm\nJob Type: Full-time, Permanent\n\nWe are working with a highly reputable and well-established energy consultancy that is expanding its commercial sales team in Leicester. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Energy Sales Consultant to join their successful outbound sales team.\n\nThis Energy Sales Consultant role is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional with proven experience in the energy sector to join a respected consultancy offering strong earning potential, career stability, and a healthy work-life balance.\n\nThe Role \n\nAs an Energy Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for:\n\nMaking outbound sales calls to new and existing B2B customers\n\nAdvising clients on gas and electricity contracts, pricing, and market options\n\nManaging the full sales cycle from initial contact through to contract completion\n\nBuilding and maintaining long-term client relationships\n\nWorking closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and compliant contract processing\n\nConsistently meeting and exceeding individual sales targets\n\nRequirements\n\nPrevious outbound sales experience within the energy sector is essential\n\nExperience must come from either:\n\nA direct energy supplier, or\n\nAn energy consultancy / broker\n\nStrong communication, negotiation, and closing skills\n\nConfident, target-driven, and resilient approach to sales\n\nAbility to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment\n\nWhat's on Offer\n\nCompetitive basic salary of £26,000 - £33,000, depending on experience\n\nUncapped commission with strong earning potential\n\nMonday to Friday working hours (9am-5pm only)\n\nFull-time, office-based role in Leicester\n\nOpportunity to join a trusted, reputable energy consultancy with long-term career prospects\n\nNext Steps:\nApply to this Job Title role through this advert.
