Role: Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Designer
Location: Devonport
Duration: 12 months (likely extensions)
Rate: £57 per hour (Umbrella and Inside IR35)
As an EC&I Designer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will support the team in providing their design capability, where the activities are generally focused on the provision of new, or modification to electrical systems on Naval Platforms.
Day-to-day, you will be involved in design projects applying process, domain knowledge and experience to develop and produce range of design outputs and deliverables within discipline, across the entire Global Engineering Product Lifecycle, or GEPL, (Start-Up, Concept, Development, Production, Commissioning & Acceptance, In-Service and Retirement), including design solutions, of varying complexity, to the required standards, under limited technical supervision.

At this level, an EC&I Designer is able to execute a range of design activities, appropriate to role, including:
Review and interpret technical information and requirements. Understand, and create technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
