Job Description
Engineering Manager – Water Industry (Permanent or Outside IR35 Contract)
My client is a growing engineering design consultancy delivering projects across the UK regulated water sector. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and develop multi-disciplinary design teams and deliver high-quality, compliant design solutions.
This role is open to both permanent candidates and Outside IR35 contractors.
The Role
Manage and mentor multi-disciplinary engineers, CAD technicians, and graduates Lead the delivery of civil, MEICA, and process design packages Ensure designs are safe, compliant, and value-engineered Manage integrated design deliverables to programme and budget Approve design outputs and manage design change control Drive BIM, digital engineering, and design efficiency
About You
Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards chartership 10+ years’ experience in the regulated water industry Strong understanding of civils, MEICA, and process design Proven experience managing engineering design teams Degree or HND in Civil Engineering (or related discipline) Full UK driving licence
