We are looking for an Engineering Supervisor to working for a leading maintenance provider, on a commercial site in Saffron Walden, Cambridge.
Working for a highly respected maintenance provider, you will be supervising a team of Maintenance Engineers while ensuring the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance. You'll also keep the client and account manager updated on progress, so clear communication and a professional approach are important.
For this role the client will look at either electrically or mechanically qualified supervisors (City & Guilds or NVQ) and have a solid, multi-skilled background in building services maintenance.
Duties:
PPMs & Reactive maintenance Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements. Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations. Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods. Organising subcontractors Completing logbooks and RAMS Reports Conducting client meetings Ensuring the account manager is kept up to date on a regular basis Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works. Permits to work Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary. Requirements:
City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Installations or mechanical engineering Ability to lead a days engineering maintenance team Building Services Maintenance experience Career driven and motivated Polite and personable Salary and Benefits:
