Engineering Team Leader
to join a high-performing engineering function within a heavy process manufacturing environment. This is a
hands-on leadership role (approximately 60–70% hands-on / 30–40% management) , combining technical expertise with people leadership. You will be responsible for leading
4 Shift Engineers , along with an additional
2 Day Engineers
when working day shifts, ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable operation of site assets. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate the day-to-day workload of the engineering team Plan and schedule proactive and reactive maintenance via CMMS (AGILITY) Delegate work effectively, ensuring resources are aligned to site priorities Drive a culture of continuous improvement and engineering best practice Provide leadership, coaching and technical support to the team Manage contractors and oversee on-site engineering activities Monitor performance against KPIs and escalate issues where required Participate in the call-out rota and respond to emergency breakdowns Support planned shutdowns and improvement projects Maintain high standards of health, safety and compliance at all times Candidate Profile Strong background in multi-skilled engineering within manufacturing Previous leadership or supervisory experience Hands-on, solutions-focused approach Experience in FMCG, food, beverage or heavy process environments preferred Strong commitment to health and safety What's on Offer Salary of
