English Teacher - Northampton Start Date: January 2026 | Full-Time | Temporary (Jan-Apr 2026)

About the Role:

Deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 available in some schools)

Promote a love of reading, writing, and confident communication

Differentiate lessons to support learners of all abilities

Contribute to enrichment activities such as reading clubs, writing competitions, and school events

Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, assessment, and student progress

We're Looking For:

A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) with a specialism in English

Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and effective classroom strategies

A creative, reflective practitioner who inspires a love of literature and language

High expectations for student achievement and inclusive teaching
