Are you a passionate and qualified English Teacher looking for a new opportunity within a supportive and stable maternity cover role?
Academics are currently recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in the Staffordshire Moorlands area, seeking an English Teacher to join their team on a full-time, fixed-term maternity cover from the Easter term through to the end of the summer term.
The Role:
Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4 Engage and motivate students of mixed ability Mark and assess in line with school policy Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement Contribute positively to the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English (or equivalent) Has recent experience teaching English at KS3 & KS4 Is confident, organised, and passionate about English Has strong classroom management skills Is reliable and committed for the full duration of the placement
