Are you a passionate and qualified English Teacher looking for a new opportunity within a supportive and stable maternity cover role?

Academics are currently recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in the Staffordshire Moorlands area, seeking an English Teacher to join their team on a full-time, fixed-term maternity cover from the Easter term through to the end of the summer term.

The Role:

* Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Engage and motivate students of mixed ability
* Mark and assess in line with school policy
* Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement
* Contribute positively to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate:

* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English (or equivalent)
* Has recent experience teaching English at KS3 & KS4
* Is confident, organised, and passionate about English
* Has strong classroom management skills
* Is reliable and committed for the full duration of the placement
