Secondary English Teacher

Location: Maghull, L31

Start Date: April 2026

Contract Type: Temporary, long term

Working Hours: Full-time, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Pay: Paid to scale

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and delivering lessons: Creating engaging lesson plans that cover reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Assessing student progress: Evaluating homework, exams, and classroom participation to track improvement. Building relationships: Establishing trust with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a positive learning environment. Encouraging communication skills: Helping students develop confidence in expressing themselves through discussions, presentations, and writing exercises. Providing feedback: Offering constructive criticism to help students refine their language skills. Adapting teaching methods: Using different strategies to accommodate various learning styles and needs.Requirements:
