English Teacher

Location: Rochdale

Start Date: Immediate until July 2026 (likely to go permanent for the right candidate)

Hours: Full time, 8am to 3pm Monday to Friday (term time only)

Salary: £160 - £220 per day (Depending on experience)

Are you a passionate and fully qualified English Teacher seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity? Our vibrant secondary school in Rochdale are looking for a dedicated English Teacher to teach pupils from KS3 to KS4. This role is full time with potential to go permanent for the right English Teacher. The school are looking for someone who holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the Uk.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching: Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to secondary school students, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning. Planning and Preparation: Develop well-structured and creative lesson plans, tailored to the needs of the students and aligned with the curriculum. Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, effectively managing student behavior and fostering a love for English Literature and Language. Assessment: Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
