Hourly rate: c £17.00 per hour

Overview


We are seeking an organised, proactive and collaborative coordinator to support education and learning activities across multiple teams, working on a range of professional development projects and supporting key committees.


Based within the Events function and working closely with the eLearning team and wider colleagues across the Professional Standards directorate, this role plays a key part in supporting complex educational programmes designed to enhance professional practice and ultimately improve outcomes for people in care.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys designing and maintaining administrative systems, taking ownership of processes, and working collaboratively across multiple teams and stakeholders. The role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.


Responsibilities:-

Committee Management & Governance Support

  • Arrange and support meetings for key learning and education boards and advisory groups, including scheduling, agenda preparation, minute-taking and action tracking
  • Prepare regular reports on learning and education projects for internal committees
  • Coordinate recruitment and appointment processes for committee and advisory roles


Support for Cross-Team Learning Projects

  • Coordinate working groups linked to major cross-department education and learning initiatives
  • Support planning and delivery of digital learning materials in collaboration with development teams
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure delivery milestones are met
  • Manage applications for learning programmes, including eligibility checks, certification processes and database updates
  • Liaise with relevant teams to ensure programmes align with current curricula and standards
  • Maintain and update website content related to learning products
  • Support marketing and promotional activity for learning programmes
  • Manage financial administration including invoicing, payment tracking and accurate record keeping
  • Support senior staff with presentations, reports and external stakeholder communications


Coordination of Educational Webinar Series

  • Provide full administrative support for a national educational webinar series
  • Manage scheduling, communications, and webinar delivery logistics
  • Maintain related webpages and documentation



Enquiries & Stakeholder Support

  • Act as the first point of contact for general enquiries relating to learning programmes
  • Provide clear, professional and timely responses to internal and external stakeholders
  • General Administrative Support
  • Provide wider administrative support to the Events function as required
  • Undertake additional duties appropriate to the role and grade



Essential requirements

  • Experience or understanding of professional education or training environments
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Experience of minute-taking, agenda preparation and meeting support
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong MS Office skills and confidence using databases
  • Ability to use initiative and follow instruction appropriately
  • Willingness to travel occasionally if required
  • Experience using content management systems (CMS)
  • Experience delivering or supporting online and face-to-face events
